Sheffield, Mass., October 14, 2013 — Bayer MaterialScience LLC announces the appointment of Brian Heine as western regional manager for Makrolon® polycarbonate sheet products. In this role, he will support the sales and marketing team, with a focus on customer relations and business development.
A Missouri native, Heine brings extensive experience to his new position. He began his career with Cadillac Plastics in 1996 as an inside sales representative and joined Bayer in 2003 as a central sales manager for Makrolon polycarbonate sheet products.
According to Dennis Duff, managing director of Bayer's Makrolon polycarbonate sheet business, "This position represents our continued strategic focus on Makrolon sheet for the distribution channel. We're pleased to have the depth of experience that Brian brings to the role."
Heine will be based in St. Louis, Mo., where he resides with his wife Julie and their two children. He holds a degree in psychology from Missouri State University.
